All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement provided at the time of booking or vehicle pickup. This document outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance provisions, fees, and your obligations for the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the latter will prevail.

- To rent a vehicle from Car Hire in Shoreham, drivers must be at least 21 years old, although age restrictions may apply depending on the vehicle type. A valid full driving licence, recognized for the vehicle category, is required, along with identification and proof of current address. Booking and Payment Details
- Reservations can be made via our website, by phone, or at our Shoreham location. A booking deposit may be necessary to confirm your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are generally required upon vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection, it is important to inspect the car thoroughly and report any pre-existing damage right away. Damage resulting from negligence or misuse remains your responsibility, regardless of any insurance policies in place.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice provided. For precise information, please check your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows may incur additional charges.
Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or any other risky endeavors. Transporting hazardous materials or sub-letting to unauthorized individuals is strictly prohibited. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is forbidden. Additionally, using the vehicle beyond its intended purpose, exceeding passenger or weight limits, or driving outside designated geographical areas without permission is not allowed.
Breach of these terms may lead to contract cancellation and fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed under English and Welsh law, Car Hire Shoreham will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, that may result from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is limited to the amount you paid for the rental in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
